Sharing Lessons from Actual Business Owners

Gary's Clients

Today in our fast-paced world it is hard for small business owners and entrepreneurs to go back to school while keeping their businesses afloat. Gary is dedicated to teaching the competencies business owners would receive in corporate finance and strategic management courses outside of the classroom. Gary specializes in helping small to medium businesses with revenues under $20 million and less than 100 employees learn on the job.

One of the things he is most proud of is his relationships with his clients. Gary enters the relationship thinking as an equity partner in the business. Of course, he is not, but often the owner is the sole person thinking “on the business” and the owner finds they cannot talk about the sensitive issues of running a business with their employees or spouse. Gary provides a safe space to talk about these challenges and provides the knowledge on how to overcome them, coming from his 20+ years of being a business owner himself.

He listens, asks, analyzes, and then suggests the changes you have to make…

Change what, Gary?? Excitement becomes frustration because you don’t want to do those changes! How will I be able to survive? How is my business going to be better? But turns out that Gary was right. With his guidance, patience, and wisdom, our company has improved in every aspect from becoming profitable to company culture to making us better persons overall. Today, we look forward to our weekly session with our advisor and now our very good friend, Gary Vaughan.
